At Bonnie View Farms we pride ourselves on our keen, consistent and nurturing approach. All our horses are raised to be safe, well-schooled mounts that exemplify the breed standards of the Mountain Horse Associations. Our foals are lovingly handled by both children and adults right from day one. By their first year our foals can load on and off a horse trailer, travel over bridges, walk through water, navigate obstacles, and work without fear around traffic and busy areas. Our focus is to turn out safe, quality, naturally gaited horses for trail or show.

Our Mountain Horses are continually amazing us with their unbelievable willingness and incredibly docile temperaments. They learn so quickly and with such ease that they are a joy to train. It seems there is no limit to the intelligence and talent of the Mountain Horse. In fact, it is quite common for one of our 3 or 4 year old Mountain Horses to be mistaken for a seasoned 10 year old!

Valkyrie is a double certified 6 y.o. RMHA/KMSHA chocolate mare, (DOB 05/12/14). She has a dappled milk chocolate coat, with beautiful long, thick, blond mane & tail. Valkyrie stands 15.1hh, with a large, powerful build. She has a very calm, sensible, and loving nature. Valkyrie is also incredibly brave too; on her very first ride under saddle she calmly walked off the farm property solo to the roads where she encountered several vehicles, including a huge machinery transport, without even so much as second thought! Star is a beautiful 6 y.o. certified KMSHA mare, (DOB 05/05/14). She has a deep dark chocolate coat, with a flaxen mane & tail. She stands 14.3hh with a strong, solid build. Star is super curious and friendly, and she is very people oriented. Definitely an “in your pocket” personality! Star's bloodlines include the famous stallions “Choco Dock”, “Buddy Roe”, and “Tobe”. This girl is sure to be a “Star Attraction” everywhere she goes!!

Star is a horse that was started under saddle and trained here at BVF, then sold to her owner of the last few years. Star is being offered for sale again only because her owner's circumstances have changed, and her owner wants what's best for Star. Star and her owner have done lots of trail riding over the years; mostly solo riding solo riding, but also trailering out for group rides as well.

Ice is under saddle, and coming along very well!
